My name is Roman Cherkashyn, I’m 28 years old. In 2016 I was graduated from university with best references. I got well experience from my shipboard training time under qualified specialists, all time learning and updating my knowledge of international conventions such as: SOLAS-74, LSA, STCW, MARPOL, IAMSAR, COLREG-72, MLC and etc. I have experience in Heavy Lift, Multipurpose, and Container vessels. During my previous contracts I carried out in navigation, preparing passage plans, checking and using GMDSS equipment, checking and repairing LSA & FFE, preparing arrival/departure documents, working with nautical publications and ADPs. As second Officer I also have experience as a ship’s doctor. I have practice in keeping sufficient ISPS measures in high risk lvl ports. Also I’ve got experience in cargo ops such as stability calculation and verification (COLOS, SEACON etc.), ballast operations including antiheeling systems and so on. In my previous vessels I worked with 2 heavy lifts cranes, SWL 350mt of each one, calculating stability before loading heavy lift cargo and pumping ballast due to lifting this cargo. I’m fully vaccinated from 12.01.2022. I’m not afraid of difficulties and always doing my jog to get the high results. I have best references from my employers and captains.
